Business Facilitation Services (BFS)

Fee Schedule

Business Facilitation Services Package (1) – $500

The BFS package (1) includes the following services:

  • Letter of Invitation (LOI) request (per company)*
  • Visa registration and de-registration with the State Migration Service (per person) **
  • Consultation with representatives from the U.S. Embassy’s Economic and Commercial Section
  • Forwarding up to two pieces of correspondence from your company to Turkmen government agencies.
  • Identifying and arranging meetings with potential private sector partners and distributors (business matchmaking)
  • Meeting requests with Turkmen Government officials
  • Hotel reservation
  • Finding chauffeur support
  • Finding interpreter support
  • Arranging use of the Commercially Important Person (CIP) lounge at the Ashgabat airport

Business Facilitation Services Package (2)

The BFS package (2) includes the following services:

  • Obtaining a tender application letter required by the government before tender documents can be issued to interested companies. Submitting the tender application letter on behalf of the company to the relevant ministry or organization. Obtaining tender documents on behalf of the company from the relevant  ministry or organization. The tender documents include technical specifications for the project, and an invoice for the tender application letter that allows the company to proceed with bidding. – $100
  • Submitting a bid on behalf of the company to the relevant ministry or organization.*** – $400

Rates for Individual Business Facilitation Services (Non-Package)

  • Letter of Invitation (LOI)  request (per person)* – $100
  • Visa registration and de-registration with the State Migration Service (per person)** – $100
  • Forwarding correspondence from your company to Turkmen government agencies (per piece) – $50
  • Meeting requests with Turkmen Government officials – $200
  • Hotel reservation – $20
  • Finding chauffeur support – $30
  • Finding interpreter support – $30
  • Arranging use of the Commercially Important Person (CIP) lounge at the Ashgabat airport – $30

Notes

* Letter of Invitation (LOI) Request: The Embassy will submit a request to the Government of Turkmenistan that a LOI be issued. It cannot guarantee, however, that the government will issue the LOI. The $100 fee covers the submittal of the request only.

** Visa Registration: This fee is charged once the LOI is issued.

*** Bid Submission: In order for the Embassy to facilitate a bid submission, the company will have to assign a limited power of attorney to the Embassy POC for the project.

Additional Note: A company submitting the bid is responsible for translation of all the official documents that are part of Package (2) including the tender application letter, technical and commercial bids, and any correspondence between the company and relevant ministry or organization. The services provided as part of package (2) do not include translation.
